GreenSTAY

This sustainability certification is based on the UN Sustainable Development Goals, so that a campsite that achieves the certificate contributes to these goals. The GreenStay certification was awarded to the campsite in 2021. The purpose of GreenStay is to create a sustainability certification for Danish campsites based on the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and thus get more people to choose camping as a sustainable form of vacation. GreenStay has been developed in collaboration with the industry and consumers, so that it best suits the needs and resources of guests and the industry.

Since 2017, we have focused on the environment and the green transition. Since then, we have minimized our use of fertilizers and pesticides by more than 95%. Hot water is heated via the sun and we produce approximately 40% of our electricity consumption ourselves. The GreenStay certification is a recognition of our work for the environment and biodiversity.
